SALISBURY TOWNSHIP, LEHIGH COUNTY, PA
PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 23, 2022 at 7:00PM

The Salisbury Township Planning Commission will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 7:00 PM in the Township Municipal Building located at 2900 South Pike Avenue, Allentown PA 18103.  The meeting will be to discuss the following items:

1644 & 1646 CARDINAL DRIVE – PRELIMINARY/FINAL LOT CONSOLIDATION (NO. 21-0412)
Review of Preliminary/Final site plan for the lot consolidation of 1644 Cardinal Drive & 1646 Cardinal Drive, two vacant residential lots, submitted by Fabian Cedeno.  Project proposes to create one lot of 6,500 sq. ft. Proposed development will be applied for separately.  The property is located within the R4, Medium Density Residential zoning district.

1493 E. EMMAUS AVE – PRELIMINARY LAND DEVELOPMENT (NO. 21-0242)
Review of the Preliminary site plan submitted by NuVision Properties, LLC for the land development at 1493 E. Emmaus Ave.  Project proposes to convert an existing structure into 12 garden apartment units.  The property is located within the R4, Medium Density Residential zoning district.

REVIEW OF PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE SALISBURY TOWNSHIP ZONING ORDINANCE (CHAPTER 27)
Review proposed amendments to the Salisbury Township Zoning Ordinance which include changes to §27-309, “Open Space Development Option for Land that is at Least Partly Within the CR District” and the addition of §27-310, “Cluster Housing Development Option”.  Additional changes may also be discussed including updates to Part 2, “Definitions” in relation to the previously listed changes and additions.  All proposed amendments may be reviewed at https://salisburylehighpa.gov/event/planning-commission-meeting-129/ beginning Wednesday, March 16, 2022.

REVIEW OF PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE SALISBURY TOWNSHIP SUBDIVISION AND LAND DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE (CHAPTER 22)
Review proposed amendments to the Salisbury Township Zoning Ordinance which include possible changes to Part 2, “Definitions” and Part 10 “Design Standards and Required Improvements” in relation to the proposed changes and additions to the Salisbury Township Zoning Ordinance (Chapter 27).  All proposed amendments may be reviewed at https://salisburylehighpa.gov/event/planning-commission-meeting-129/ beginning Wednesday, March 16, 2022.
