The 2014 Summer Playground Program begins on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 and ends on Friday, July 25, 2014. Township children who have completed Kindergarten through age 12 are eligible to participate. Program hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 12 PM and Wednesday evenings 6:30 PM to 8 PM.

Park locations are as follows:

• Green Acres
• Lindberg
• Devonshire
• Laubach

The May 8, 2014 Board of Commissioners meeting has been cancelled. Their next meeting will be held on May 22, 2014 at 7:00 PM. (posted 5/7/14)

Township seeks applications for an operator for its yard waste drop-off centers at Franko Farm Park and Devonshire Rd. Application deadline is May 9, 2014.

On Saturday, April 26, 2014, the pond at Laubach Park will be available for youth 15 years of age and under who wish to fish. All youth must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or other adult 18 years of age or older to supervise and assist with assembling tackle and baiting hooks. Limit of five fish per child.

As a reminder, it is unlawful for any individual over the age of 15 to fish at the Pond. Violators could be subjected to fines and penalties in accordance with Salisbury Township Code of Ordinances Chapter 16, Part 2.

The Township assumes no risk for the event and parents should be mindful of their children during this event. The Pond will be closed Friday, April 25, 2014 to allow the stocking of the pond.
