Smoke testing will be conducted by Keystone Consulting Engineers in the Township’s on-going efforts to address and reduce Inflow & Infiltration (I&I) into the sanitary sewer system. The work will take place in the Eastern portion of the Township, specifically in the Basin 10 area, and will be split into 3 phases, beginning with Phase 1 in mid-September 2020. Phase 1 will include the area from East Emmaus Avenue at Maumee Avenue and extending to Park Avenue and north up to East Susquehanna Street ONLY. Door-hanger notices will be provided to residents and business owners at least 48 hours prior to the smoke testing in your area. Your patience and cooperation during this sanitary sewer testing project are greatly appreciated.
