There is a new program in Lehigh County called Record Alert, a free service available to all county residents and to anyone who owns property within the county. With Record Alert, property owners can receive text or email notifications whenever a document is recorded for their property. Each alert includes the parcel number, instrument number, document type, and recording date. This service is designed to give property owners peace of mind and help protect against fraud, such as unauthorized mortgages or attempts to take possession of a property without the owner’s knowledge or consent.
