On July 7, 2025, the Salisbury Township Police Department bid farewell to Corporal Kevin Kress after an impressive 35 years in law enforcement – including 15 years with the Lehigh University Police Department and 20 years serving the residents of Salisbury Township.
Kevin proudly served his community as a community-oriented police officer, D.A.R.E. instructor, Detective, and Patrol Corporal.
Corporal Kress was a figurehead in Salisbury’s efforts to bridge the gap between the Police Department and the community. He built lasting relationships with residents by helping to develop programs such as National Night Out, Coffee with a Cop, and several other community-centered initiatives.
Throughout his career, Corporal Kress served with integrity, honesty, and patience. His legacy will live on within the department through the bonds he built with his fellow officers and the community he served.
Congratulations on your well-deserved retirement, Kevin – you will be missed.
