The Township of Salisbury (“Owner”) will receive sealed bids/quotes electronically via the PennBid Program for various road construction equipment rental with operator’s services from contractors/vendors to perform routine/emergency roadway and/or storm sewer system maintenance or repairs in accordance with the Request for Quote (RFQ) and Contract Documents/Specifications.
Bids/Quotes will be received online via PennBid until 2:00 p.m. (prevailing time) on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. Bid results will be made available on PennBid after opening/review by Owner. All bids/quotes will be reviewed and considered by the Township Commissioners at their March 26, 2026 regular meeting.
Copies of the Specifications/Bid Forms are available at no cost on PennBid (https://PennBid.bonfirehub.com). Questions and inquiries should be addressed through PennBid’s “Ask A Question” button found on the Project Details page.
Bids must be submitted on the prescribed form(s). The Township reserves the right to waive any informality in, and/or to reject any or all bids/proposals if, in their judgement, is not in the best interests of the Township. In addition, bids/proposals will be rejected if quote prices are determined to be unbalanced. The low bid/proposal shall be determined by the average cost of equipment/operator bid upon. No bid will be accepted if not submitted through the PennBid system.
The bid must be accompanied by bid security made payable to the Owner in an amount specified in Section 10 “Instructions to Bidders”, Subsection 10-7, and in the form of a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond issued by a surety.
