Salisbury Township seeks an operator for its two yard waste drop-off centers at Franko Park and Devonshire Road for the 2026 season. The work schedule for the position will be from the first Monday in April through the last Saturday in November. The drop off centers hours of operation will be Mondays and Thursdays from 10:00am-6:00pm [NOTE: Hours are 10:00am-5:00pm only during the month of November] and Saturdays from 8:00am-1:00pm. Operations will alternate weekly at each site location until November 30th. The operator will be responsible for checking visitors I.D.’s to ensure residency, making sure only appropriate materials (per Township standards) are dropped off at the site for recycling and directing traffic. The position requires working outside, possibly in adverse weather conditions, and to have frequent interaction with the public as well as regular standing, walking and/or lifting of objects up to 50 lbs. Residents must be able to unload materials and empty containers themselves.
Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or G.E.D., valid PA driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs. ($16.00/hour).
